I know I'm pretty late to the game as this topic has been discussed among bbloggers for a while but I thought I'd add my two cents to the mix to help you make up your mind about these so called 'fake perfumes'.
A little while ago, supermarket giant Lidl released a range of perfumes. They went down a storm, often selling out in stores around the country because of a distinct similarly that they have with other designer scents. The diamond in the rough in this case was Suddenly Madame Glamour of which looks like this...
I have purchased this perfume and it currently retails at £3.99 (not online but in store, sorry!). Unfortunately the packaging is what you would expect of a bargain basement perfume. The cap is a solid, unglamorous white plastic and the gold rim is a little loose. The time that I've had my bottle (around a year) the writing has worn off a little, but hey, thats not the point here. The scent, to me, smells more like Coco Mademoiselle to me now because I've been wearing it for so long and it is bottom line, an absolute BARGAIN. 
Compared to Suddenly, Coco Mademoiselle is less potent and less condensed on me. It doesn't last long on my skin at all and at £55, I don't want to be wasting money on this scent when I can get the same, yet better for £3.99.
